Metrolinx Announces First-Mile Last-Mile Partnership with Turo 

METROLINX, TORONTO, ON, IS partnering with carshare company Turo to offer riders an option to extend their journey beyond the agency’s network. 

Customers can request a vehicle using the Turo app or through Turo’s website by typing in their nearest station and travel date to begin browsing thousands of cars shared by local hosts. 

When it is time to pick up their car, customers check in with the app and collect the keys from the host. Turo vehicles will be parked in station lots for a maximum of 48 hours once a car reservation request is received.
