Monica Tellez-Fowler, Central Ohio Transit Authority

COLUMBUS, OH—Monica Tellez-Fowler, who joined the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) earlier this year as chief operations officer, has been named deputy CEO of the agency. She will continue to oversee COTA’s transit and fiscal operations, as well as human resources, information technology and innovation. Prior to joining COTA, Tellez-Fowler was deputy CEO/treasurer of Clark County Public Transit Benefit Area Authority (C-TRAN) in Vancouver, WA. Before that, she served as chief financial officer of Trinity Metro in Fort Worth, TX. For APTA, she is a member of the Planning, Policy and Program Development and Bus Operations committees and Transit Operations Planning and Scheduling Subcommittee.
