40 Ft. Heavy-Duty Transit Buses 

Notice is hereby given that the Madison County Mass Transit District will be accepting proposals until August 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM CDT for the manufacture and delivery of a base order quantity of 27 heavy-duty, clean diesel, 40 foot low-floor transit buses along with training, test equipment and special tools, with an option to purchase up to eight (8) additional buses over a contract term of five (5) years. The RFP (excluding proposal submittal forms), all issued addenda, and the plan holders list can be downloaded for free at https://bit.ly/2SrWfW3. The forms required for proposal submission will be provided to bus manufacturers and dealers upon request by calling the District’s procurement department at (618) 797-4600.
